- Late Shift: 4 days over 7, 13:30 – 00:00
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 09:30 – 18:00
- Salary: Late Shift £20.00 – £23.00 p/h (DOE) | Day Shift £18.00 – £20.80 p/h (DOE)
Key Responsibilities for the PCV Technician:
- Service, maintain, and repair a fleet of PCV vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Carry out MOT preparations and ensure compliance with DVSA standards
- Complete all defect sheets, job cards, and compliance paperwork accurately
- Follow company health & safety procedures at all times
- Utilise diagnostic equipment and workshop tools effectively
- Support the wider engineering team and contribute to a clean, safe working environment
- Work flexibly across shift patterns as required
- Strong experience as a PCV or HGV Technician
- Qualified to Level 3 in Heavy/PCV Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Excellent knowledge of braking systems, engines, suspension, and electrical systems
- Full UK driving licence (PCV Category D licence desirable – training may be provided)
- IRTEC accreditation or MOT tester licence is advantageous
- A strong team player with excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
