Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Vacancy - Bedford Fast-Fit Centre
  • Position: Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
  • Location: Bedford
  • Basic Salary: £35,000 + Bonus
  • OTE: £39,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Saturday mornings, 8:30am - 12:30pm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a busy and professional fast-fit autocentre in Bedford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Conduct diagnostics and inspections to identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs.
  • Carry out work on brakes, tyres, suspension, exhausts, and wheel alignment.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of safety and quality.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and job cards.
Requirements:
  • A valid MOT Tester Licence (Class 4).
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 2 or 3) or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a fast-fit centre or dealership environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
  • A positive, motivated attitude with a desire to learn and progress.
