  • Basic Salary: Up to £45,000 + Bonus 
  • OTE: £50,000
  • Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • 4-Day Working Week Option Available

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Master Technician to join a busy main dealer in Dunstable.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled technician looking to take the next step in their career, working within a professional workshop environment where technical expertise, quality workmanship and customer satisfaction are key priorities.

As Master Technician, you will act as a technical point of reference within the dealership, using your diagnostic skills and experience to identify complex faults, support other technicians and help maintain a strong first-time-fix culture.

Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out advanced diagnostics using manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and mechanical faults
  • Completing servicing, maintenance and general repairs
  • Carrying out MOT tests
  • Inspecting vehicles and components for faults, damage and wear
  • Supporting and advising fellow technicians with difficult technical issues
  • Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Communicating technical findings clearly to the service team
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Master Technician or Diagnostic Technician within a main dealer environment
  • A relevant automotive qualification
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience working across both electrical and mechanical systems
  • MOT Tester qualification (desirable)
  • A full UK driving licence
