- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am – 12:30pm
- Salary: Basic up to £38,000 (depending on qualifications) + £3,000 productivity bonus + uncapped time saved bonus (OTE up to £48,200)
Key Responsibilities for the MOT Tester / Service Technician:
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections and routine servicing on new and used vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology.
- Perform MOT tests and related repairs in line with DVSA and manufacturer guidelines.
- Complete mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs to a high standard.
- Carry out warranty work and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
- Liaise with the service team and customers to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction.
- Perform final quality checks and road tests to verify all work completed.
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or MOT Tester.
- Ability to carry out diagnostics and repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
