Workshop Manager Required for Windermere - Work with a longtime client of ours in a management position!
  • Basic Salary of £45,000
  • OTE of c.£50,000
  • Experience in Motor Trade management positions is essential
  • Level 3 NVQ Light Vehicle Maintenance or Equivalent skill required
  • MOT Licence desirable but not essential 
  • Oversee the Day to Day running of the garage to work closely with the whole team.

Our client, a locally recognised vehicle and fleet repair garage, is hiring for a Workshop manager to join their team. You will oversee the daily operations of the garage, providing support to technicians, reception teams and the directors through your professional knowledge of what is required for the garage to succeed. This is an excellent role for someone with Motor Trade management experience to step into, with one of the Lakes' most reputable independent businesses!

Your role will stretch across garage operations, administration, health and safety compliance and team management, and you will use your skills in mechanics to support the workshop where required. The business has many loyal clients who you will interact with on a daily basis and build rapport with as your progress.

The Ideal Workshop Manager will have - 
  • Experience in garage or workshops as a Level 3 or equivalent technician.
  • Will have seen success in previous management positions in the trade.
  • Be confident with invoicing, record keeping and administration tasks.
  • Organised and methodical with strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and IT skills.
  • Have a Full UK driving licence.
  • Ideally have an MOT licence, although this is not essential.
As a Workshop Manager, you will receive - 
  • Basic Salary of £45,000
  • OTE of c.£50,000
  • Support from the directors of the business where you can input your ideas and feedback
  • Ability to see progression in a management position with an independent garage
