Our client, one of the UK’s largest comprehensive automotive accident repairers, is currently looking to recruit an experienced and professional Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator to join one of their centres in North Bristol.

Reporting to the Bodyshop Manager and Lead Vehicle Damage Assessor, your main purpose will be to carry out estimates as specified by insurers/customers, evaluate damage done to a vehicle and ensure that, by doing so, a satisfactory profit margin can be generated.

Responsibilities will include: 
  • Accuracy within vehicle evaluation using market knowledge.
  • Evaluating claims and determining total loss status.
  • Liaising with insurance providers.
  • Generating Audatex assessments 
  • Updating records 
  • Utilise imagery and invoices to produce final reports of estimates & total losses. 
  • Ensure working practices are clear, with a strong methodological approach with excellent desk organisation. 
  • Ensuring company processes and standards are met within the aspects of imaging and paperwork. 
To be eligible, you will hold previous experience in a damage assessor/estimating role within an accident repair centre and have some experience/training with the Audatex estimating system. Automotive Technical Accreditation (ATA), experience with the Autoflow Bodyshop Management System, and manufacturer training would be advantageous, but are non-essential to our client. A UK driving license with minimal points is essential, however.
