Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of 6/8 members of staff made up of a motorhome/caravan habitation workshop and front-of-house team. You will be required to run an efficient and professional department, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through the maximum utilisation of workshop facilities and the efficient sale of labour whilst maintaining manufacturer compliance standards and collating and completing any necessary reports.
Day-to-day duties as an Aftersales Manager will include the following, but are not limited to:
- Promotion of our client's business, its products and services
- Liaising with and giving full service to the sales team.
- Responsibility for all service centre day-to-day activities.
- Professional preparation of all vehicles, including PDIs, habitation checks, routine servicing and repairs.
- Ensure prompt, polite and proactive service reception.
- Charging out of retail, warranty and internal work in accordance with policy guidelines.
- Responsible for hours utilisation and charge out for engineers.
- Oversee the ordering of parts and accessories as required.
- To assume responsibility for the maintenance and security of the service centre.
- Ensure compliance of Health & Safety regulations.
- To regularly audit and compile a report on company-owned tools and equipment.
- To assume responsibility for annual accessory and parts stock take.
- To control performance to budgets against monthly and annual budgets.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times by following and working within our computer system and customer care programme.
- Performing any other ad hoc tasks, as required, which will help to contribute to the overall performance of our client's business
