Are you a skilled Tyre Fitter looking to advance your career within a reputable automotive environment? We are recruiting for a Tyre Fitter on behalf of our client in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team that values professionalism, customer satisfaction, and career development.

Benefits Of The Tyre Fitter Role:
  • Competitive basic salary of £30,000 per annum
  • OTE potential of up to £33,600 with bonuses
  • Working hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • No weekends required, with overtime available if desired

Duties Of The Tyre Fitter:
  • Replacing and repairing vehicle tyres efficiently and safely
  • Carrying out precise wheel alignments to manufacturer specifications
  • Managing tyre deliveries and ensuring all stock is accurate
  • Conducting insurance-related tyre inspections, including photos and tread assessments
  • Staying updated with the latest tyre legislation and repair techniques
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Candidate Specification For The Tyre Fitter Role:
  • Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in light vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of tyre fitting, balancing, and wheel alignment procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Computer literacy for operating workshop systems
  • Passion for automotive craftsmanship and excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with Hunter wheel alignment systems is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided
