Commercial Van Technician Required in Manchester:
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week + 1-in-3 Saturdays (overtime available)
  • Salary: Basic £38,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)

Our client, an award-winning, family-run Commercial Van Centre specialising in major manufacturer franchises, is seeking an experienced Commercial Technician to join their expert team. You’ll work closely with leading manufacturers and be part of a professional, supportive team that values its people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintain, and repair a range of light commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
  • Carry out routine maintenance, safety checks, and inspections
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Work to high quality and productivity standards
  • Support colleagues and contribute to a positive workshop culture
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician or Van Technician
  • Qualified to Level 3 standard in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Light Commercial Licence preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
