Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Required For Main Dealer in Sutton Coldfield
  • Basic Salary up to £32k, depending on experience
  • OTE £45,000 + (Uncapped commission!) 
  • Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30am with 1/4 Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm
Our client, a Main Dealer, is looking for a fully qualified Car Technician to join their busy Automotive Workshop in the Birmingham area.

You will have a stable work history and have a good understanding of diagnostics as well as being able to carry our straightforward service and repair quickly and efficiently, and to a high standard. First-time fix and attention to detail are of the utmost importance to our client so you should understand the need for quality of work as well as the speed of work.

The ideal Vehicle Technician / Mechanic candidate will have:
  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience after qualifying period, of working in a Franchise Dealership (or similar)
  • Ideally, hold a valid MOT Card (not essential) 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work
  • Must have your own tools 
  • Full UK driving licence
For your hard work as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will get the following:

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Candidate Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance or similar
  • Previous experience as a Technician or Mechanic (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Optional: MOT testing qualification (desired but not essential)
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
