This is an excellent opportunity for skilled mechanics with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a willingness to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment. As a Roadside Mechanic, you will play a vital responsibility in assisting members on the roadside across the region, providing expert repairs and support whenever they need it most.

Duties as a Roadside Mechanic:
  • Respond promptly to roadside breakdowns and resolve vehicle issues efficiently
  • Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models.
  • Manage your own toolkit, van stock, and reports with precision and professionalism
  • Maintain excellent communication with members, offering clear advice and support
  • Work independently whilst supporting team objectives and company standards
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and work environments, often on short notice
Requirements for this Roadside Vehicle Technician: 
  • Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance Qualification or equivalent
  • Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic expertise
  • Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to travel and work shifts with short notice, including overnight stays if necessary
  • Attention to detail and ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure
This position is ideal for mechanics nearing the end of their apprenticeships, those with at least one year of garage experience, or qualified Level 2 Technicians seeking a highly rewarding career with a trusted roadside assistance provider.
