Vehicle Technician required in East Bristol
  • Salary: Between £35-45,000 per annum with opportunity for salary increases over the length of service.
  • Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Our client, an independent family-run automotive service centre that has operated for nearly 40 years in the East Bristol region, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join their business.
 
Reporting to the Company Owner and working as part of a friendly team, as a Vehicle Technician, your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repairs on customers' vehicles to a high standard, as well as MOT's, if you have an active MOT licence. You will need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Company Owner as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance. As a Vehicle Technician, you will need to ensure that Health & Safety, as well as work quality procedures relating to the task at hand, are always adhered to. 

For our client, experience counts more than certificates. Whilst an NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an active MOT license would be highly desirable, it is non-essential, and our client is willing to consider "time served" Vehicle Technicians with several years demonstrable practical experience. You will, however, need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and be a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
