Vehicle Technician Required for Car Dealership in Kingston Upon Thames
  • Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime
  • Hours: 45 Hours Per Week with Saturdays on a rota

Our client, a premium brand main car dealership in the Kingston Upon Thames, South London area, is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their busy automotive workshop. You will be responsible for servicing, diagnostics, road tests, warranty write-ups, VHCs, and maintaining a safe, tidy workshop environment!

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively within the dealership workshop team to uphold high standards of safety, customer care, and satisfaction.
  • Complete work recommended by Master Technicians following fault finding procedures
  • Accurately utilise the Auto VHC system to ensure efficiency
  • Conduct servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics on vehicles
  • Assist and supervise Apprentice Vehicle Technicians as needed, overseeing their work and providing training
Requirements of this Vehicle Technician role:
  • Ideally reside within Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, or South West London, or be willing to travel to the area
  • Have previous experience in vehicle maintenance
  • Hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in vehicle technology
