Key duties of the Motorcycle Technician role:
  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of motorcycles from 50cc scooters up to 1000cc bikes, including Harley Davidsons
  • Conducting MOT testing where qualified (preferred but not essential)
  • Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting issues
  • Ordering and sourcing parts as required
  • Communicating effectively with the workshop manager and team
  • Ensuring workshop workflow runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Keeping records of work completed and ensuring high-quality standards are met
Requirements for this Motorcycle Technician role:
  • Qualified motorcycle mechanic with Level 2 or Level 3 motorcycle repair certification
  • Ideally 3-4 years of relevant experience in motorcycle repair and maintenance
  • MOT Tester qualification is advantageous but not mandatory, as support can be provided for certification
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Practical, competent, and able to work independently within a team
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload
  • Motivated and committed to delivering high standards
