We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dynamic Marketing & Events Manager whose role will be pivotal in driving brand visibility and engagement through innovative campaigns and exciting events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marketing, event management, and social media, with a genuine enthusiasm for cars, motorsport, and other sporting events such as football.

- Competitive salary between £35,000 and £40,000, with an OTE reaching up to £45,000 for the right candidate

- Plan, organise, and execute a variety of automotive events, including car shows & festivals, racing sponsorships, local exhibitions, and community sports initiatives such as football sponsorships
- Manage and create engaging digital content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram using tools like HootSuite and Canva
- Coordinate promotional activities, sponsorships, and partnerships to maximise brand exposure
- Oversee company participation in motor racing events including their own sponsored series
- Manage internal communications, staff engagement initiatives, and staff spotlights in company publications
- Support at public events, such as Regional Business Awards & UK-wide awards such as the Bodyshop Awards, with physical presence and equipment management
- Maintain and generate content through photography, live streams, and video recordings
- Liaise with external partners, stakeholders, and event vendors to ensure seamless event delivery
- Provide detailed reporting on campaign performance and event outcomes to senior management
- Proven experience in motorsport or automotive marketing and events
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with social media management tools and digital content creation
- Creativity and strategic thinking to design impactful marketing campaigns
- Driving licence is essential; a company van will be provided for events
- Physically fit and prepared to engage in active event participation
- Attention to detail, especially regarding brand consistency and spelling accuracy
- Enthusiastic team player with a friendly, professional approach
- Interest in other sporting events such as football is advantageous, supporting the sponsorship commitments
- Experience with live streaming, camera work, and video editing is desirable
- An automotive background with a genuine passion for cars and motorsport
