Our client, a well-established Commercial Main Dealership, is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented HGV Technician to join a well-established commercial vehicle service department in Widnes.

Our client is seeking a dedicated and professional HGV Technician to contribute to their maintenance and repair operations on a full-time basis. Key duties of the HGV Technician:
  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs on various commercial vehicles and trailers
  • Diagnosing faults using testing equipment and technical data
  • Conducting preventative maintenance to reduce customer costs and downtime
  • Completing warranty, retail, and contract paperwork accurately
  • Supporting other tasks as directed by management to ensure operational excellence
Requirements for the HGV Technician position:
  • City & Guilds or equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • Proven experience in the diagnosis, servicing, and repairs of commercial vehicles.
  • Well-organised with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Manufacturer training experience and technical knowledge up-to-date
  • Full UK driving licence; HGV licence preferred but not essential
  • Professional, friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure both independently and as part of a team
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of approximately £45,000 per annum.
