Service Manager Vacancy in Warwickshire
  • Location: Leamington Spa
  • Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (plus overtime potential) depending on experience
  • OTE: Earn up to £48,000 - based on profitability, productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on a 1 in 3 rota
  • Benefits: Bonus Scheme, 24 days annual paid leave (increasing with service), and Pension
Our client is a customer-focused, professional independent garage. They pride themselves on supporting the local community with friendly, professional vehicle maintenance services. As part of a strategy for growth, they are looking for a Service Manager to manage their busy workshop team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of advisors and technicians.
  • Price and formulate customer quotes and invoices.
  • Organise work schedules ensuring work standards and timescales are achieved.
  • Liaise directly with customers and service advisors to keep customers fully informed.
  • Source vehicle parts required for mechanical work in the workshop.
  • Adapt and track workshop activities to completion.
  • Provide technical guidance to the workshop team as needed.
Requirements:
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent customer management skills.
  • Technical experience with Level 3 Qualified or time-served automotive mechanic professional history.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and internal systems.
  • Ability to deliver high standards of performance and meet critical timelines.
  • Direct experience managing a workshop team with an aptitude for multi-tasking.
  • Strong team ethic with excellent communication skills.
  • Quality awareness.
  • Full driving license.
