  • Specialist Automotive Business in Warwickshire
  • Working on a self-employed basis: Rate of up to £24 per hour, depending on experience
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm

Our Client, a High-end specialist business in the Warwickshire area are looking for a Classic Car Restorer / Build Technician to add to their team of highly skilled, niche professionals!

Based in Warwickshire, in the Leamington Spa area, they have developed a well-established and respected business looking after Luxury Car owners for many years!

Are you a passionate and skilled automotive professional looking to specialise in classic car restoration and bespoke builds? Our client, a leading specialist in high-end vehicle restoration and customisation, is seeking a dedicated Classic Car Restorer / Build Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on iconic vehicles in a state-of-the-art workshop located in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

Duties of the Classic Car Restorer / Build Technician role:
  • Rebuilding and restoring classic vehicles to show-winning standards
  • Stripping, inspection, and assembling engine components
  • Performing welding and fabrication tasks, including MIG and TIG welding
  • Installing and aligning suspension, brakes, steering, and drivetrain systems
  • Fabricating bespoke brackets, mounts, and custom parts
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues during restorations and testing phases
  • Collaborating with the team to meet high standards of quality and precision
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a classic car restorer or vehicle build technician
  • Skilled in engine rebuilding, welding, and fabrication
  • Knowledge of classic, performance, or low-volume vehicles is highly advantageous
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for precision engineering
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
You must have Classic Car experience to be considered for this role, and capable of doing engine rebuilds. My client is looking for experienced and passionate mechanics.
