- Position: Master Technician
- Location: Northampton
- Basic Salary: Up to £42,000 + bonus / overtime
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours)
- No weekends.

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded main dealership in Northampton, is looking to recruit an experienced Master Technician to strengthen their workshop team.

Master Technician Responsibilities:
- Acting as a technical authority within the workshop, providing guidance and mentoring to Technicians and Apprentices
- Carrying out advanced diagnostics on electrical, mechanical, engine management, and hybrid systems
- Diagnosing and rectifying complex faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical data
- Supporting the Workshop Controller and Service Advisors with technical queries, job allocation, and repair strategies
- Ensuring all repairs are completed to manufacturer standards, right-first-time
Qualifications and Skills required:
- A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
- Current experience and qualified as a Master Technician
- MOT license preferred but not essential
- Your own set of tools
- A full UK driving licence
They would be willing to look at a Senior Technician who is willing to do the manufacturer training.
