  • Location: Ashby De La Zouch area / Leicestershire
  • £40,000 Basic Salary
  • Full-Time | Mon–Fri 9am–5pm
We’re recruiting for an experienced Accountant to join a well-established, independently owned prestige car dealership in North Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a reputable business representing luxury vehicles, offering a stable, long-term role with a respected employer.

What’s on offer?
  • £40,000 basic salary
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Occasional Saturday work as required
  • Friendly and professional working environment

Key Responsibilities as a Dealership Accountant:
  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Accounts Department
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Running payroll for all staff
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
What we’re looking for in a Dealership Accountant:
  • Proven experience in an automotive accounts role or similar environment
  • Relevant accounting qualifications
  • Ideally experienced with Sage 50 or similar accounting software
  • Strong understanding of VAT and payroll processes
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • A proactive and reliable approach to work
  • Strong IT and accounting software knowledge
