Our client, a well-established automotive service centre in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, is currently looking to recruit a skilled Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a reputable workshop offering a supportive environment and a competitive salary.

Main duties as a Technician will involve:
  • Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues effectively
  • Carrying out scheduled servicing and fault diagnosis
  • Ensuring high standards of vehicle safety and quality control
  • Completing detailed documentation of all work undertaken
  • Working efficiently within a team to meet workshop targets
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge on vehicle systems
Requirements for the Technician role:
  • Proven experience as a Technician within the automotive industry
  • Full driving licence is essential
  • Relevant qualifications, including MOT Testing (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong technical skills and a methodical approach
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good communication skills and team player attitude
