We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading provider for a Mobile Vehicle Technician position based in Chelmsford. In this role, you will deliver essential roadside repairs, supporting motorists across the region with your technical expertise and flexibility.

- Conduct roadside repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models in a mobile capacity
- Diagnose electrical, diagnostic, and mechanical issues efficiently to determine appropriate repairs
- Manage your own tools and ensure your van is stocked and ready for each call-out
- Provide exceptional customer service, supporting motorists in stressful situations
- Maintain accurate reports of repairs and diagnostics, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Embrace flexible working hours and be prepared for overnight stays if required when travelling to different locations
- Support the company's reputation by delivering professional, reliable roadside assistance at all times
- Valid Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent
- Proven technical ability with strong diagnostic and electrical skills
- Experience working as a mobile mechanic or roadside assistance technician
- Full UK driving licence with a clean record
- Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in high-pressure situations
- Flexible approach with willingness to travel and stay away overnight if necessary
