Are you an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity in Sidcup, Kent? Our client, a well-established family-run garage specialising in German vehicles, is looking to recruit a talented Senior Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their friendly team. This role offers an excellent environment to develop your skills within a well-equipped workshop focused on providing top-quality service to a loyal client base.

Duties
• Servicing and repairing a range of German and high-performance vehicles including passenger cars, vans, and Class 7 vehicles
• Conducting thorough vehicle diagnostics using dealer-standard equipment
• Performing complex repairs such as timing chains, gearboxes, and heavy mechanics tasks
• Carrying out MOT testing if qualified, or undertaking testing after qualification
• Maintaining detailed service and repair records
• Ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld at all times

Candidate requirements
• At least 3 years post-apprenticeship experience working with premium brands
• Valid MOT test licence or proven MOT testing capability, or willingness to train to become qualified
• Strong diagnostic skills with experience using main dealer tooling
• Ability to service, repair, and diagnose a wide range of vehicle issues
• Own set of mechanics tools and a proactive approach to diagnostics and repairs
• Knowledge of German vehicle systems such as BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, or Porsche is highly desirable
