- Location: Ludlow
- Pay: Up to £17.50 per hour (DOE & qualifications) + Time Save Bonus
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (no weekends)
- Working Pattern: Typically 8:30am–5:00pm (flexible start/finish — early shifts available)
- Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays
This is a great opportunity for either an established MET Technician or a strong Workshop Technician looking to transition into the bodyshop environment.
The business has exciting growth plans, including the addition of an MOT and service centre later this year, offering excellent long-term prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) work on damaged vehicles
- Strip and refit vehicle components to manufacturer standards
- Conduct wheel alignment and “super fitter” duties where required
- Identify additional repair requirements during strip-down
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to high quality standards
- Work efficiently to meet productivity targets
- Collaborate with bodyshop and workshop teams
- Previous experience as an MET Technician, Strip & Fitter, or strong Vehicle Technician background.
- Relevant qualifications preferred (ATA advantageous but not essential)
- Good mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Full UK driving licence
- Up to £17.50 per hour for qualified/skilled Technicians
