  • Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Are you a qualified Vehicle Technician with strong servicing and prep experience looking to join a professional and supportive aftersales team? We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Prep Technician to support a busy Nottingham workshop, delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring vehicles meet the highest standards before handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in a franchised dealership or independent garage who is motivated, quality-focused, and looking for long-term career progression within an established automotive business.

Duties of this Prep Technician (PDI) role:
  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and preparation work to manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnosing basic faults efficiently and accurately
  • Completing visual health checks and reporting findings clearly
  • Ensuring all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant workshop environment.
Requirements of this Prep Technician (PDI) role:
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Valid MOT licence (required)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ workshop experience
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
