Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance adhering to high standards.
  • Conduct general diagnostics, repairs on clutches, timing belts, and chains.
  • Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA standards (qualification preferred)
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with workshop ad hoc tasks as required to ensure smooth operation
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proficiency with diagnostics and modern vehicle electronics
  • Ability to perform skilled inspections, repairs, and servicing
  • MOT testing qualification highly desirable
  • Own tools and the ability to work independently in a busy workshop environment
  • Positive attitude, proactive approach, and excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a dealership or independent garage
