Our client an LCV Main Dealer with over 20 years of Trading, seeking a Vehicle Technician for their Service department in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

Our client represents several brands at over 14 locations across the Southeast of England who they have handpicked for their innovation, reliability, and value-for-money. Our client prides themselves on their customer service with every member of their 350 + team having the customers’ best interests at heart.

Our client is ideally looking for Qualified Mechanics with previous experience within the automotive trade, with NVQ Level 3 qualifications, IMI Level 3 Qualifications or similar. You will need to be an all-rounder and preferably be happy to undertake both diagnostic and service work.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Facilitate the repair and diagnosis of vehicle faults of franchised manufacturer Light Commercial Vehicles
  • Undertake electronic VHCs and video checks
  • Ensure that any vehicles are repaired and serviced in a timely manner.
  • Develop and upkeep a high level of technical competence via manufacturer training
  • Liaise with the Service Advisor’s and Service Manager regarding any issues
  • Provide a knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient service to all workshop customers
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience in a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician role
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualifications or equivalent, Level 2 may be considered dependent on experience.
  • Excellent Communications skills
  • Be able to work both independently and as a team
  • Can adhere to a specific working process
  • Be willing to develop and expand on your mechanical knowledge
  • Full UK Driving Licence. – Preferably Clean
