MOT Tester required in Wolverhampton, West Midlands
  • Salary: Up to £35,000 Basic + Bonus (OTE £40,000+)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, Saturday mornings on a rota (paid as overtime)
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
We are currently seeking a skilled and qualified MOT Tester to join a well-established and reputable automotive business based in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work within a busy, modern workshop environment offering stability, great earning potential, and long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities for the MOT Tester 
  • Carry out MOT testing in line with DVSA regulations
  • Ensure all inspections are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Identify vehicle faults and report findings clearly
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work completed
  • Support the workshop team with general vehicle inspections where required
  • Uphold high standards of health & safety and compliance.
Requirements for this MOT Tester role:
  • Valid MOT Tester licence (Class 4 essential, Class 7 advantageous)
  • Previous experience as an MOT Tester or Vehicle Technician
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
