- DIAGNOSTIC/MASTER VEHICLE TECHNICIAN - KIDLINGTON
- SALARY: Between £41,207-46,201 basic salary with £49,775-56,750 on-target annual earnings
- HOURS: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:30pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:00am-1:00pm.

Our client, one of the UK's largest automotive dealer groups, is currently looking to recruit a Diagnostic/Master Vehicle Technician for their franchise-approved car dealership located in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.
Reporting to the Service Manager, and working part of a friendly team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out a range of complex diagnostic, warranty and repair work on vehicles.
- Completing EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, working in line with manufacturer standards.
- Using your expertise in diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve hard-to-find issues.
- Assisting Apprentice Vehicle Technicians with development where needed
- Supporting the less skilled Vehicle Technicians in diagnosing all types of issues, guiding them to be highly efficient.
To be eligible, you will need to be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and be trained to either a Diagnostic or Master Vehicle Technician level with exposure to complex diagnostic/servicing work, with experience in electrical and mechanical systems. You will need to hold a UK driving license with minimal points, be a committed individual and be a good team player who has a "mentor mindset" where they're happy to share their knowledge and expertise with the rest of the workshop. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy franchise-approved dealership environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. A UK driving licence with minimal points is also essential.
