  • Pay: £28,000 - £47,900 per year DOE 
  • Hours: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday – Thursday; 08:30 - 16:30 Friday - NO WEEKENDS! 
Exciting opportunity for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a well-established family-run Bosch car service garage in Sandwich, Kent.

This position offers the chance to work with a busy garage recognised for its high standards and extensive vehicle servicing and repair expertise.   • Competitive basic salary range of £28,000 -£48,000 per year reflective of experience and skill level
  • Working hours 08:30 - 17:30, Monday to Thursday; 08:30 - 16:30 Fridays.

Duties as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician will include:
  • Use of advanced diagnostics to identify a range of faults in electrical and electronic systems and carry out complex repairs
  • Working across a broad range of modern vehicle systems
  • Specialising in JLR, Volkswagen group, and Volvo
  • Carrying out routine servicing and inspections in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Advising customers on repairs and maintenance requirements
  • Ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety compliance
  • Supporting the workshop team to deliver exceptional service in a busy environment
Requirements that the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician will need:
  • Level 3 qualified Technician or Master Technician highly desirable
  • Strong experience in vehicle diagnostics and repairs required
  • Previous experience working with JLR vehicles highly desirable
  • Skilled in using diagnostic equipment such as Autologic and Bosch
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering quality work
  • Ideally, some experience working on classic or older vehicles is a plus
