Are you a seasoned motor trade professional with a passion for classic cars and a keen eye for detail? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent workshop based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, seeking a highly skilled Classic Car Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a individual with extensive experience to work on some truly iconic vehicles in a relaxed, family-friendly environment.

Duties of the Classic Car Technician:
  • Servicing and repairing classic and vintage cars, predominantly  from the 70s, 80s, and 90s
  • Conducting routine maintenance and mechanical work with a focus on attention to detail
  • Engine rebuilding and thorough diagnostics
  • Assisting with vehicle restoration projects, excluding bodywork
  • Providing expert support and advice for customers and club members
  • Working alongside a dedicated team with a passion for classic vehicles
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years' post-apprenticeship experience in automotive repair
  • Proven background working with classic or specialised vehicles, ideally Porsche
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in engine rebuilds and routine servicing
  • Ability to work methodically and independently, with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects for extended periods with patience and precision
  • Open to individuals with experience in other brands such as Ford or similar, provided they have a sensible head and automotive expertise
