Vehicle Technician Required in Crawley, West Sussex for Car Dealer Group

Pay: £34,000 - £40,000 Basic DOE + £5k Bonus + Overtime
Hours: 8.30 -5pm Monday - Friday + Saturday mornings on a rota

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable car dealership group in Crawley, West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians seeking a role that offers competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and a supportive working environment.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair, working efficiently to deliver excellent results for customers and the dealership.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary from £34,000 up to £40,000 dependent on experience
  • Achievable OTE of approximately £45,000 with the inclusion of bonuses and overtime
  • Bonus potential of up to £5,000
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8.30am to 5pm
  • Rotational Saturday mornings to accommodate busy workshop demands
  • Stable employment with a reputable employer
Duties:
  • Carry out repairs and servicing on a range of vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
  • Use diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle issues
  • Ensure work is completed within allocated timeframes
  • Maintain high quality and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Complete relevant paperwork and vehicle documentation
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential
  • Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or similar)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong diagnostic skills and a good understanding of vehicle systems
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including rota Saturday mornings
