Pay: £40 - £45k Basic 
Hours: 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota

Our client, a reputable independent garage known for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, is looking to appoint a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their dedicated team. Duties

  • Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues including brakes, suspensions, exhausts, clutches, and cambelts
  • Conduct accurate and efficient MOT tests (if fully qualified)
  • Replace gearboxes and undertake general mechanical repairs as required
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out
Candidate spec

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester within a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Confidence handling all aspects of mechanical repairs and servicing
  • Valid UK driving licence is essential
  • Active MOT licence will significantly enhance earning potential to £45,000
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
