Are you an experienced Vehicle Service Technician looking to advance your career with a reputable employer in Letchworth? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-performing aftersales team as a Service Vehicle Technician.   • Full-time position with 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis

Duties:

  • Carry out servicing and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including diagnostics, warranty repairs, and general repairs
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, cambelt replacements, and other mechanical tasks
  • Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in accordance with company standards
  • Complete digital write-ups and accurate job card documentation
  • Work efficiently to ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
  • Support the team with other maintenance tasks as required, ensuring customer satisfaction
Candidate Requirements:

  • Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) in vehicle maintenance
  • Prior experience as a Service Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, ideally with exposure to warranty and servicing work
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow processes and uphold safety standards
  • Full UK driving licence; MOT licence is a bonus but training can be provided for those without
  • Enthusiastic learner with a genuine passion for automotive repair and maintenance
  • Commitment to professional development and a positive attitude towards manufacturer training
