Workshop Controller needed in North Lincolnshire.
  • Pay: £40k + bonuses 
  • Hours: 8 - 5pm Monday - Friday
Are you an experienced Bodyshop professional looking to take a step into a supervisory role? Are you a current Foreman or Controller?

Our client is seeking a dedicated Workshop Controller to oversee daily operations at their busy North Lincolnshire facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a well-established team, combining hands-on work with supervision, ensuring workshop efficiency and quality standards are maintained.

Duties:
  • Managing workshop operations ensuring work is allocated efficiently among team members
  • Conducting quality control on vehicle repairs and services to meet industry standards
  • Organising daily workloads and ensuring technicians have continuous work
  • Overseeing stripping, fitting, and repair processes, occasionally assisting when required
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety within the workshop
  • Liaising with insurance companies and clients to ensure smooth communication and service delivery
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician, Bodyshop Technician, or Workshop Controller
  • Ability to oversee workshop operations and ensure jobs are completed on time and to quality standards
  • Hands-on skills with vehicle stripping, fitting, and repair work
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Passionate about maintaining high workshop standards and customer satisfaction
  • Reliable team player who can step into a supervisory role when needed
