- Workshop Controller - Swindon
- Salary: Up to £34,000 basic salary plus performance-related bonus scheme providing £40,000+ uncapped on-target earnings.
- Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm, paid as overtime.

Our client, one of the UK's largest independent automotive dealer groups operating since 1999, is currently looking to recruit a Workshop Controller for their multi-franchise-approved car dealership located in Swindon.
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and accountable for a team of 10 Vehicle Technicians, as a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day function of the workshop, allocating work, motivating and supervising the team in the workshop and ensuring safety, standards and efficiency by the Vehicle Technicians each day. You will work closely with our client's Service Advisors to ensure all work booked in is achievable and planned to meet customer expectations, industry standards and Vehicle Technician workflow.
To be eligible, you will ideally live in the Swindon region or within a reasonable commuting distance to Swindon and will need to have a proven track record in running a successful franchise-approved automotive workshop for the past several years. Overall, you will have excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills and team orientation, be results-oriented with a desire to drive performance, have problem-solving and decision-making skills, put a focus on quality and reliability, and be IT literate. You will also need to have a UK driving license with minimal points. Any experience/manufacturer training with Stellantis vehicles would be highly desirable, but is non-essential.
