Pay: £ Negotiable depending on experience
Hours: 8.30 - 5.30pm Monday - Friday - full time permanent position 
Are you an experienced motor engineer with a passion for high-performance engines? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Engine Builder to join a renowned automotive business based in Weybridge. This is a unique chance to specialise in V12 / V8 engine building and work on a variety of prestigious projects, including power upgrades, race engines, restorations, and engines for some of the rarest vehicles in the world.

Duties

  • Support the assembly of high-performance engines under the supervision of experienced engineers
  • Prepare and clean engine components to meet strict standards
  • Assist with the accurate measurement and fitting of engine parts using appropriate tools and equipment
  • Follow detailed build instructions and technical documentation with precision
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
  • Document completed work and support quality control procedures throughout the engine building process
Candidate spec

  • Solid mechanical knowledge with practical workshop experience, ideally as a vehicle technician
  • Genuine passion for high-performance automotive engineering and engine mechanics
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn from skilled colleagues
  • Familiarity with hand tools, measuring equipment, and safety procedures in a workshop setting
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently and accurately
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive with a strong work ethic
  • Local to Weybridge and committed to building a long-term career within the business
