Vehicle Preparation Technician Based in Leamington Spa
  • Basic: Up to £34,000
  • OTE: Up to £40,000
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am – 1:00pm (41.5 Hours Per Week)
Our client, a successful and growing automotive retailer, is looking to recruit a New & Used Vehicle Preparation Technician to join their busy workshop in Leamington Spa. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and wants to develop their career within a professional and well-supported environment.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Completing routine servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
  • Conducting visual inspections of vehicle interiors and exteriors
  • Fitting approved accessories
  • Completing all relevant documentation prior to vehicle handover
  • Road testing vehicles where required
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
What we’re looking for:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or working towards completion)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Experience gained within a main dealer, independent garage, fast-fit centre, car supermarket or similar environment
