Reporting to the senior management team, as the Parts Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- To monitor all overheads and stock values to ensure that the budget is managed and controlled.
- To ensure the sale of all necessary items to support customer requirements.
- Review parts sales daily to monitor departmental performance and ensure planned gross profit is achieved, taking corrective action as appropriate.
- Control all parts purchases to ensure that maximum buying efficiency is achieved and is in line with company policy and franchise agreements.
- Control levels of parts stock, providing availability of parts to meet customer expectations, whilst maintaining parts obsolescence at minimum levels.
- Agree and establish clear individual targets for departmental team members to ensure everyone is clear about their responsibilities and development opportunities
