Our client, an automotive service centre/tyre retailer with 24 centres across the Home Counties, is currently recruiting for an Assistant Centre Manager to join their busy centre in Thame, Oxfordshire.
Reporting to the Centre Manager and responsible for front of house as well as supervising a workshop team, your responsibilities will include:
- Line management.
- Dealing with customer enquiries in person and over the phone.
- Assisting the branch in achieving targets.
- Monitoring stock levels and carrying out stock audits.
- Hands-on workshop role if and when required.
To be eligible, you will need to hold commercial experience with a proven background within the automotive sector at a supervisory/management level with experience in the fast-fit/tyre and exhaust industry. You will have the ability to help lead and manage a team of individuals, the ability to demonstrate success in developing and maintaining a positive sales culture, a strong customer focus with the ability to encourage the team to deliver a consistent and positive customer experience, and experience in maximising sales whilst controlling costs, and compliance with centre and management standards. You will also be able to step in and help out in the workshop on occasion. A UK driving licence with minimal points is mandatory.
