Location: Nuneaton
Basic: £18.00 per hour + £15 daily late shift allowance
Alternating weekly shifts: Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:30 and 13:30 – 22:00. 1 in 2 Saturdays (paid at overtime)

Our client is seeking an experienced HGV Trailer Technician to join their busy workshop team.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Carrying out major and minor repairs to HGVs, trailers and associated vehicles
  • Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance work
  • Diagnosing faults and working with the wider workshop team to plan repairs
  • Maintaining accurate service and repair records
  • Ensuring workshop cleanliness and safe working practices are maintained
  • Supporting roadside repair requirements when required
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and warranty documentation
What we’re looking for:
  • Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair & Maintenance (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI)
  • Previous experience as an HGV or Trailer Technician
  • Strong understanding of DVSA standards and compliance requirements
  • Ability to identify worn and defective components accurately
  • Full UK Driving Licence relevant to vehicle classes worked on
  • IRTEC accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential
  • A reliable and professional approach with strong attention to detail
