Duties:
  • Lead and manage the workshop technician team to maximise efficiency, sold hours, and first-time fix rates
  • Oversee customer-facing staff to maximise upselling opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards
  • Adopt and utilise new digital systems and processes in line with our digitalisation strategy
  • Develop the skills, knowledge, and career progression of team members
  • Optimise operational processes within the customer journey, including Vehicle Health Checks
  • Ensure compliance with group financial procedures, DVSA MOT regulations, and health and safety standards
  • Make a positive impact across the dealership and department to support overall business goals
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or similar role within the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of workshop operational processes and digital systems
  • Ability to drive performance and motivate a team towards achieving targets
  • Full UK driving licence
