Duties:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Service department, managing productivity, efficiency and workflow
  • Lead, coach and develop a multi-disciplined team, including Technicians and Service Advisors, while ensuring excellent customer service
  • Drive service department targets and commercial performance, working closely with the wider business to maintain profitability
  • Take responsibility for departmental financials, compliance and consistent customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a positive, professional team culture and ensure clear expectations, ownership and continuous improvement
  • Represent manufacturer and industry standards in day-to-day practices, ensuring processes and requirements are met
Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior Aftersales or Service Management role, with strong Service operations knowledge
  • Confident people leader with the ability to manage a large and diverse team and set clear standards
  • Strong customer service mindset, with analytical skills to monitor performance and drive improvements
  • Demonstrable understanding of compliance requirements and manufacturer standards
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with pride in delivering both results and a supportive workplace
  • Based in or able to commute to Letchworth, Hertfordshire
