Vehicle Technician - Engine Specialist Required in Wimbledon for Fleet Company 
  • Hours: 8.30 - 6pm Monday - Friday - Optional Saturdays paid as overtime
  • Pay: £38,000 - £45,000 Basic DOE 
We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician - Engine Specialist to join a busy fleet workshop in Wimbledon. This is an excellent role for an experienced technician who specialises in engine diagnostics and repair, with optional Saturday overtime available for those who want to increase earnings.

Benefits:
  • Basic pay up to £45,000 depending on experience and skill
  • Hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm
  • Optional Saturday overtime available, paid at 1.50x
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Workshop is open five days a week with a steady, fleet-focused workload
Duties:
  • Carry out engine fault diagnosis and effective troubleshooting
  • Repair and replace engine components, including timing chains and head gaskets
  • Complete engine replacements to a high standard
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Work to manufacturer guidance and adhere to workshop standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician - Engine Specialist or in an engine-focused diagnostic role
  • Strong diagnostic skills, with confidence in diagnosing and repairing engine faults
  • Experience working on timing chain issues, head gasket repairs, and engine replacement work
  • A professional, reliable approach and pride in workmanship
  • Willingness to work optional Saturdays when the workshop requires additional cover
