Our client’s history within commercials vehicles goes back to the days of Horse & Carts, these days they represent one of the largest global brands within the HGV sector, with a bit more Horsepower than the original.

Our client’s relationship with their Commercial Vehicle Manufacturer has been going strong for over 30 years, so you know you’ll be joining a well-respected brand and business.

They are currently seeking a Service Advisor to join the well-equipped commercial vehicle workshop and aftersales department based in Southampton. Whether you are an experienced Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor or Passenger car Aftersales Advisor our client is interested in speaking to you.

We’ve worked with this Client for several years; they continue to invest in both their staff and workshop. This is a great role for any budding Service Advisors within the Southampton, Eastleigh, Winchester, and surrounding areas.

Duties of a Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor with our Client:
  • Contacting customers with progress of work updates, and being always on the front-foot
  • Providing customer price, time, and scheduling estimates, aligned with company processes.
  • Ensure the customers is notified promptly the completion of work.
  • Proving customers with the full range of additional products and services available
  • Creating invoices of work carried out.
  • Upselling of products
  • Using knowledge and experience to advise customers of necessary repair.
What our client expects of their Commercial Vehicle Service Advisors:
  • Service Advisor experience with a Vehicle Dealership would be highly beneficial.
  • Good sales skills & customer service experience.
  • Keyloop Experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • IT literacy is essential.
  • Technical knowledge of vehicles, and vehicle parts is helpful, enabling to answer customer queries.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • A great team player.
  • A personable approach to customers and fellow staff members.
