Join Our Client as a Skilled Vehicle Technician in Chelmsford, Essex Our client is seeking a highly capable and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their established auto service team in Chelmsford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated motor trade professional looking to progress within a reputable dealership.

As a Technician, you will play a key role in delivering quality service to customers while working in a supportive and professional environment.

Benefits of this Vehicle Technician role include:
  • Competitive basic salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8.30am to 5.30pm with a one-hour lunch break
  • Standard company pension scheme
  • Holiday entitlement of 22 days plus bank holidays, with options to increase holidays for experienced technicians, up to a maximum of 25 days
Duties of the Vehicle Technician role include:
  • Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues with precision
  • Performing scheduled maintenance and service work in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Conducting vehicle inspections and quality checks to ensure high standards
  • Advising customers on necessary repairs and recommended maintenance
  • Keeping accurate records of work completed and parts used
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Individual requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or higher, with relevant skills and expertise
  • Full driving licence essential
  • Own toolkit required for the role
  • Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
