Bodyshop Stripper-Fitter required for an established accident repair operation in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. If you are an experienced Bodyshop Stripper-Fitter with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently on damaged vehicles, this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy workshop and strengthen your career within the motor trade.

Benefits:
  • Basic salary of £45,000 with an excellent earnings potential
  • Hourly rate range £35,000 to £45,000 (based on experience and working arrangements)
  • Overtime paid at the same rate where applicable
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8:00 to 16:30
  • 28 days holiday allowance (including bank holidays)
  • Pension and cash bonus incentives
Duties:
  • Bodyshop Stripper-Fitter duties stripping panels and dismantling damaged vehicle components for repair
  • Removing and fitting vehicle interior trim, lining and associated parts
  • Organising parts and preparing vehicles to the required standard for the next stage of the repair process
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high-quality standard
  • Working efficiently within a fast-paced bodyshop environment
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Stripper-Fitter or in a closely related bodyshop role
  • Knowledge of vehicle dismantling, stripping and reassembly procedures
  • Good attention to detail when handling trim, panels and internal components
  • The ability to work to deadlines and maintain productivity in a busy accident repair environment
  • A team-focused attitude and a pride in producing reliable, consistent work
