MOT Tester Required in Coulsdon for Car Dealership 
  • Pay: £36,000 basic | £40,000 OTE 
  • Hours: Full-time | 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading car dealership in Coulsdon, Surrey, for an experienced MOT Tester to join their busy workshop. This is a customer-focused position where quality, compliance, and efficiency matter, with a clear opportunity to earn up to the stated on-target figure.

Benefits:
  • Salary of £36,000 basic, with an OTE of £40,000
  • Full-time role working 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis

Duties:
  • Carry out MOT testing to DVSA requirements and dealership standards
  • Diagnose faults and ensure any defects are recorded accurately and clearly

  • Work efficiently to meet workshop targets while delivering a high-quality service
  • Support the wider team with workshop flow, keeping vehicles moving through the service process
Requirements:
  • Valid MOT Tester qualification (or strong eligibility and willingness to obtain accreditation)
  • Proven experience as an MOT Tester within a busy workshop
  • Thorough understanding of MOT regulations and inspection standards
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to communicate findings professionally
  • A reliable approach to work and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
