We are currently recruiting for a skilled Panel/MET Technician to join our client’s bodyshop team in Redruth, Cornwall. This is a great opportunity for an experienced MET or Panel Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, efficient turnaround times, and maintaining a professional standard across every repair.

Duties of an MET Technician:
  • Strip and fit vehicle components as part of the repair process, ensuring correct removal and refit methods are followed
  • Deliver MET and panel preparation to a high standard, ready for repair and finishing stages
  • Carry out panel work and related tasks to restore vehicles to manufacturer and industry specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment, following all relevant procedures
  • Work effectively to meet job card timescales and support productivity across the team
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Panel/MET Technician within a fast-paced accident repair or bodyshop environment
  • Proven ability across MET and panel processes, including accurate stripping and fitting
  • Competent with vehicle preparation to ensure repairs are completed to a consistent standard
  • A strong work ethic, reliable attendance and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Full UK manual driving licence (with endorsements disclosed if applicable)
  • Right to work in the UK and willingness to provide supporting documentation for interview
