Vehicle Technician Required in Solihull 
  • Basic Salary: Up to £36,000 DOE
  • OTE: £40,000 - £45,000+
  • Overtime: Paid at 1.5x Rate
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Saturday Rota: 1 in 3/4 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm (additional Saturdays available if desired)
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a highly regarded premium automotive retailer in the Solihull area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work within a modern, manufacturer-led environment, with access to ongoing training, genuine career progression opportunities, and industry-leading workshop facilities.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work to manufacturer standards. You will play a key role in ensuring customers receive the highest levels of workmanship and service, whilst maintaining efficiency and quality across all aspects of your work.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
  • Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work where required
  • Ensure all work is carried out efficiently and in line with manufacturer procedures
  • Maintain accurate workshop records and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the wider workshop and aftersales teams
  • Contribute towards maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
What Our Client is Looking For in their Vehicle Technicians:
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within a dealership or independent workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • MOT Licence advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills
